Hi, I'm Josiah.
I'm a senior digital product designer specializing in consumer-facing, market-scale mobile experiences. I currently work at Livefront, a Minneapolis-based digital product studio, doing high-visibility work for clients like Target and Optum, as well as a few startups you've not heard of but will. I wear many hats, and am as comfortable driving squishy, greenfield product strategy as I am polishing the details of a new UI or guiding the collective efforts of a cross-functional team.
Prior to joining Livefront, I was an associate creative director at BI Worldwide, where I helped companies like Toyota, Allergan, Honda, Verizon, and Cargill launch new products and internal initiatives. My time in the agency world taught me a lot about the role of human psychology in the customer journey, and those lessons deeply inform the way I approach product design.
In addition to my work in the enterprise, I'm passionate about tech startups and advise and assist several founders in matters of design, product strategy, and growth. I previously published Vectors, a biweekly anthology of high-signal content from the intersection of tech, design, and startups, with some personal observations thrown into the mix.
My latest, best work isn't on public display due to client confidentiality, but please feel free to drop me a line or reach out on Twitter (@jgulden) if you'd like to connect. Thanks for stopping by!
